1 Can or Glass(about 1lb) Red Cabbage-if you can find it use Apple red cabbage
1 diced Onion
1 Cup Red Wine
1 Cup Apple Juice or Broth
1 shredded Apple
Some Vinegar if desired

Rezept Red Cabbage-Rotkohl

This is a sweet with a tiny hint of sour cabbage which tastes really good to any kind of roast as well as turkey,duck and goose.

  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 diced Onion
  • 1 Cup Red Wine
  • 1 Cup Apple Juice or Broth
  • 1 shredded Apple
  • Some Vinegar if desired

Zubereitung

  1. Melt butter in pot,add onions sauté for abou2 min. then add sugar and let brown.Then add Cabbage,liquids and apple.Cook until the cabbage has the desired consistency.If more sourness is desired just add some Vinegar.
